Whether you would like to train just for fitness or you would like to perform at the highest levels of competition, we have something for everyone.

Our karate classes run 7 days a week, which means that there is something for everyone, and with our affordable membership schemes, you can train frequently without having to worry about your pocket. Our multiple daily sessions offer exceptional value for money, combined with the highest levels of coaching.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

Arrival Time

If it’s your first class, we recommend arriving 15 minutes before your class begins, just in case you have trouble locating us

Comfy Workout Clothes

Don’t worry that you won’t have a uniform to begin with. Just wear something comfortable that you enjoy to exercise in

Eating Before Exercise

We recommend that if you need to eat something, that is light and easy to digest. Please do not come to classes directly after consuming large heavy meals.

Sunday No Gi Day

On Sunday’s, we give our students the option of not wearing their gi. However, you must still be in NKMA uniform of some kind.

Bring Water

All students must be a bottle of water with them, and we recommend writing your name on it, so if it can be returned to you, if left at the dojo

Other equipment

Compulsory protective equipment will be karate gloves and a gum shield. We highly recommend that you have leg protectors. Girls aged 12+ should wear a chest protector, and boys are recommended to wear groin guards. All of your equipment should be named.

Summer Uniform

During the summer, when temperatures approach or exceed 30 degrees (during the time of the lesson), you can wear your NKMA Summer Uniform, which consists of shorts/gym shorts, t-shirt/crop top.
