Instructors - David Knight 2nd Dan

David Knight

2nd Dan Karate | 2nd Dan Kick Boxing

David began learning karate from a very young age under the instruction of Sensei Rich Condon (5th Dan), until Rich sadly recently retired. David trained with Rich Condon for more than ten years before moving across to become one of North Kent Martial Art’s instructors. Since then, David's karate has gone from strength to strength. He now teaches on many national martial arts courses and with each year he significantly raises his reputation as one of the country's top instructors.

David is not only a well respected coach but also a top competitor. In 2010 David earned a bronze medal at the London International Karate Championships and a bronze at the Greater London Championships. A prolific fighter and accomplished karateka, he has competed at the highest levels and his determination to improve and help others is always evident.

David’s teaching is methodical and relaxed – students learn a great deal through his easy going nature. His ability to keep both younger and older students entertained and enlightened has earned him great credibility within the club.

In March 2011 David decided to expand the reach of North Kent Martial Arts and branch out into the Medway area. He now has several very successful clubs in the area, including Halling, Rochester and Chatham. If you would like to know more about David’s sessions, please contact us.
